Good Choice

An historical sidenote: Back in Ireland, Samhain, our Hallowe'en, featured lanterns carved from turnips. When the New World (and its pumpkins!) were "discovered", the custom transferred to the new vegetable.

Slice of turnip pie, anyone....? No wonder the Irish left the Emerald Isle in droves!
