Gravel Gertie

You know, I saw a lot of interesting things in today's travels. A hawk coming in for a landing against a stiff wind, so close that I could see the individual micro-adjustments in his alars as he seemed to hang forever before settling in for a perfect 2-point landing on a fence-post where he could turn and view me with a wary eye. A young Hutterite lady laying her stern starched polka-dotted scarf in her lap to brush out her long silky hair.

So what kind of a picture do I bring back? How about this gravel-washer? Go figure....
