Lounge, Dance Hall and Restaurant? 10 miles east of Conrad? Hey, it sounded like a great idea in the heady days of 1973, when this place was to be the nerve center of the new Anti-Ballistic Missiles. 1974 brought detente and a bitter end to this prairie town's dreams. Many a fortune was lost; perhaps the local economy and spirit have not recovered even yet.
