Stranger In A Strange Land
The Eurasian Collared Dove (Streptopelia decaocto) was, as its name implies, introduced here from across the ocean. It has been in Montana since 1997. Looks like it started out in Florida, and a few made the northwestern migration. Spotted a few the other day, but of course didn't have my camera with me, so we'll have to thank Nathan DeBoer of the Montana Field Guide for this photo.
