Planetary Palette
There are 5 planets visible with the naked eye (well, six, if you count the Earth!). Don't miss the chance to spot all of them over the next few evenings. Jupiter and Venus are easy to spot right after sunset. Wait just a bit, then draw a line from them towards the last glow of the sun, and you should be able to spot Mercury over the western horizon. Wait an hour or so, and blood-red Mars will be evident in the east. Then, around midnight or so, you will be able to see Saturn following it. Enjoy!
