A Strange-Tripper -- obviously hailing from warmer climes -- sends along this photograph of Stapelia grandiflora. She reports that it earns its common name of "Carrion Flower", smelling just like rotten meat and attracting numerous flies. Said that her son sort of liked the smell too. Hmmm, guess I'll have to have that lad over for dinner sometime, maybe he will like my cooking....
