White Ash and Black Ash
The black ones are burnt-to-a-crisp pine needles. It is all courtesy of the aptly-named Fool's Creek fire, which has been merrily burning away since July 3rd. Nobody can see anything through the smoke, but they think maybe the ski run and 20 cabins in the West Fork didn't burn in its latest "run"....
