Pay a visit to confluence.org. This site is devoted to visiting and photographing every intersection of integer-degree longitude and latitude lines in the world. This one is just a couple of miles from here as the crow flies, and was visited back in 2001 by some avid GPS-er on vacation.
If any of you find something interesting about the nearest intersection to you, or if any are intrepid and high-tech enough to visit the intersection, let us know!
And anyone who wants to visit the antipode (point on the earth directly opposite) at 48S 68E, go for it!
