High Gravel Desert
Upslope from Fritillary Coulee, the thin gravelly soil is hospitable only to the likes of the Prickly Pear, and the invading interloper Dalmatian Toadflax, terrorist of the plant world, with a brief enlivenment by Penstemon nitidus and a Phlox of some sort.
