Running in the Streets

You can say this about spring here on the prairies: It does not come pussy-footing in like those wimpy springs poets are always so fond of. It comes roaring in over the course of half an hour. Naturally, it will leave us just as quickly, and may be be gone for weeks at a time. In fact, yesterday's river is already today's skating rink. How does that Joni Mitchell song go again?
