Post-Armaggedon Basketry

Professors at Pendroy University are known for breaking free of the crowd. The arts professor, for instance, decided that the recent emphasis on basketry using native materials was somewhat passé. "What", he posed to the class, "would the survivors of a nuclear war use to make their baskets?"

Here is one student's vision: crafted from household wiring and old baling twine. Well-suited for gathering the meager fruits of your typical nuclear-winter harvest.
