Skyline Laid Low

Another loss to mourn; once-proud prairie skylines gone like a way of life. Ours in Pendroy at least went out in a mad frenzied pyre of licking flame and dancing smoke, worthy of a mighty warrior's demise. This, sent by a Strange Tripper far in the Great White North, met an ignominious end, its foundations undercut by burrowing worm-like diesel machines, poor wooden bones sent sprawling, broken to the cold clay, then ground to toothpick dust by the treads of soulless metal beasts.
