The good folks at the Free-Range Daycare are eager to take advantage of every new psycho-babble concept; particularly if it results in significant savings in payroll expense!

"Mentoring" -- an older child teaching a younger one -- seemed a fine idea. Here we see one of the older ones filling in as art-class teacher when the regular hard-working staff member who usually fills the role unexpectedly called in sick (again) on Monday.

You can see that the older girl is certainly enjoying the challenge of this new responsibility. The younger child's parents (she was a first-time "drop-in") will be thrilled to have a tangible memory of her first happy hours at FRD! You can be sure they won't forget to call next time they find themselves needing quality care for their precious infant.
