Empty Pod, Full Nest

If you've ever felt the soft fluffiness of the contents of these Asclepias speciosa pods, then you know that it would be as warm as down. You can be sure that many small rodents are sleeping through the winter in burrows lined with this marvelous material. I'm yawning just thinking of it. You are too. Oh, you're yawning at my writing? Well, thanks a lot!
