Red Man Butte

Well, you may know it as Priest Butte. Many of the local Metís insist, though, that its real name is Red Man Butte. Either way, it is a fine example of a laccolith; essentially a fossilized volcanic vent which has been exposed by the weathering away of the rock which once surrounded it.
