Asters Aplenty

Haplopappus armerioides (center) and H. multicaulis (I think so - Hey, I bet you can tell whether the involucral bracts are cuspidate or abruptly acuminate, right?). Anyway, these yellow flowers sure do their best to make this gravel pile look briefly habitable every spring.
