Bug's Life

Maybe you can spot the bumble bee in the upper-right corner. The sun already down, a bee harvest moon well over the horizon. Just one more load of this plentiful caragana pollen, a sleep not even close to long enough, then finish up this row before the sun gets too high. The old bushes over to the north may be worth investigating if those nasty drones from the new hive haven't gotten there first. Alfalfa not looking too promising this summer. Still the young ones clamor for more and more. Maybe get together with some of the hivemates between blossomings, sip some nectar down at the old long branch. Bzzzzzz. Bzzzzz. Bzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.
