HAL? R2D2? Hello?

Computer scientists at the University of Alberta have created these tiny robots with rudimentary ant-like intelligence programmed into their little processors. Just like little Oilers, maybe a little more intelligent.

If you have a faster internet connection than we do, you may be able to view a video of this experiment at the researchers' web site.
